Whitland Male Voice Choir
The Whitland & District Male Voice Choir has been in existence for over 100 years, it has been reported in the press that the choir was founded in 1890.
We welcome any new members who would like to sing to join us on a Thursday evening in the Memorial Hall, at 7.30 pm.
We have a current membership of 43 drawn from a wide area around Whitland. Members come from Maenclochog and Newcastle Emlyn in the north, Haverfordwest in the west, St Clears and Carmarthen in the east and Laugharne, Tenby and Manorbier in the south.
We all share an enthusiasm for singing in harmony and, at the same time, raise money for charitable causes. We have recently acquired five new members - as Dylan Thomas said "thank the Lord we are a musical nation".
